Flowers and chocolates are fine and all. But if we have to be honest, we wouldn’t mind, just once, having a seriously over-the-top Valentine’s Day surprise. So may we suggest that you *accidentally* leave this page open on your S.O’s laptop or ask a trusty friend to relay the message? And if they’re STILL not getting the hint, just tell them that dinner on a snowcapped mountain is exactly what Valentine’s Day dreams are made of. Because communication is key to any lasting relationship, right?

So, turn up the heat this Valentine’s Day by getting cozy with your lover in this winter wonderland.

Tip 1: Location, Location, Location! Don’t be discouraged if a snow-covered mountain is a bit off the beaten path. A road trip is a great way to get to know your date! Make sure to have your location picked out ahead of time in order to prevent leaving your lover out in the cold. Nothing says romance quite like a well-thought out plan.

Tip 2: Wine and Dine Them. Don’t fear if your location is a bit of a hike. This will give you plenty of time to let that fine wine breathe. We suggest packing some hot soup and cocoa in a thermos.

Tip 3: Bundle Up. What better excuse to get close to your hot date than the cold weather? But if that and your booze blanket just aren’t enough, wrap yourself in furs. You’ll stay surprisingly warm (and look chic).

Happy Valentine’s Day Lovahs!
