Laurel loves the iconic laurel wreath and leaf motif! I mean, who doesn’t?

Elegant yet subtle in detail, the laurel leaf offers a visual treat whenever sighted. The laurel wreath is a symbol of victory and glory. The Greek god Apollo, recognized as the god of light, truth, healing, music,  and poetry  was often represented wearing a horseshoe laurel wreath upon his head. Throughout history, the laurel motif has influenced design, architecture, furniture, home accents and decorative arts.

We find it especially thrilling to incorporate the laurel motif in a modern way. You can find its influence in interior design and home decorating through etched tableware, woven textiles and linens, carved furniture, sculpted lamps and gilded accents.

Here are a few decadent laurel leaf items for the home. Hope you enjoy adding a little glory to your home décor!
