What are you doing with your life?
Just kidding! But seriously, hop over to our insta page for your daily dose of interior design inspiration!
At Laurel & Wolf, we believe that any well-designed space, regardless of utility, can be inspiring. We’ve been drooling over the super chic and eco friendly ‘Tiny House’ movement for a while, so when we got the chance to attend SXSW in Austin, we knew we had create our own L&W Tiny House to spread the design love all over the USA!
We started with a basic garden shed. It looked like a house with a cute little roof, and it fit our ‘tiny’ requirement nicely. We painted the outside and inside walls Decorator’s White and the trim and beams black to make the whole structure look clean and streamlined.
After we finished up painting, it was time to tackle the interior! We knew we wanted to add some storage, so we built a shelving unit in all black (so chic!) on the far side of the Tiny House.
As soon as we were done with the technical elements, the REAL fun began! A cute, and more importantly compact settee in beige was a perfect spot to host our guests, the artwork on the wall and details that we added to our shelves really brought the #lwtinyhouse to life!
And with that, we packed up the #LWtinyhouse and began our trek from Los Angeles, CA to Austin, TX. Stay tuned to see how the tiny house survived the journey, and follow us on instagram at @laurelandwolf for even more fun!
